Daycare Childcare Officer (Level 3)

  •  NJC SCP 5 to 6
  • Actual salary: £24,200 to £24,584
  • 35 hours per week
  • All year Round
  • Permanent contract
  • Required as soon as possible

 The Trustees and Headteacher are looking to appoint a new Daycare Childcare Assistant to be part of the highly committed team within our extremely popular Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ day care nursery. The post is contracted ‘all year round’ and on a ‘permanent’ basis.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of working within a nursery setting
  • The ability to work flexibly Monday- Friday between hours of 8am and 6pm

We wish to appoint a new member of staff who is committed to providing high quality childcare to our local community within a purpose-built nursery. The post holder will work as part of a team to provide high quality care and learning experiences for children to develop within the nursery and work in partnership with parents/carers and the wider community.

This is an exciting and challenging role that requires the post holder to possess a high standard of understanding the changing environment of childcare provision and ability to implement and support outstanding practice. The successful applicant will have a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification. The full title and Awarding Body of your qualification certificate must meet with the DfE Guidance to allow you to work in an Early Years setting.

School Cleaner

  • National Living Wage: £12.21 per hour
  • Part-time – 11 hours per week
  • Term Time or All Year Round available
  • Required as soon as possible

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced cleaner to join our school cleaning team as soon as possible.  This position will be 11 hours per week and contracted either term time only or all year round, on a permanent basis.  Duties will include general cleaning, vacuuming, polishing, dusting, mopping, and using an electric floor polisher.  Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques would be useful although training will be provided.  Contracted hours will be mainly after the school day, but other times may be requested.
